We have the expertise and the equipment to manage complex wind turbine projects. Over the past few years, we’ve made significant investments in machinery and storage facilities across all three of our locations. Our highly skilled and continuously trained personnel are one of our most significant competitive advantages. With our latest crane acquisition, we can now perform tandem lifts of nearly 250 tons.

Handling demanding cargoes

One of the largest vessels to ever visit the Port of Vaasa was 38 000 DWT and 190 metre long Tian Zhen, it carried 72 wind power plant components for wind power plants in the south of Finland. Even in difficult projects like this, lifting and moving goes smoothly thanks to Blomberg Stevedoring’s skilled staff who have learned to handle even the most demanding cargoes.

Modern warehousing solutions

We provide warehousing services at multiple ports in Finland, offering both indoor and outdoor storage solutions. Our facilities include modern warehouses, with the majority of our indoor storage capacity constructed within the past decade. Storage fields at the port serve as a vital buffer, enhancing supply chain flexibility for wind power stations. In efficient wind turbine storage, intelligent software aids us in optimizing the use of storage space and cargo movements.

Ship agency and transportation

Our wide network of subsidiaries and partners can offer logistics solutions from port logistics to storage and road haulage. Our strategically located facilities have good connections to the rest of Finland and easy access to port areas.
